The evening,
orchestrated.

One flow for guests, hosts and venues: tickets and profiles before, a calm door and a moving room during, private choices and chat after. The host sets the shape once; MatchQuest runs the mechanics.

A host serves a shared dinner to a lively table of guests in a plant-filled room
AT THE DOOR

Calm arrivals.
Only real attendance counts.

Each guest’s page walks them through the evening: check in, event, feedback.

  • Signed, rotating ticket codes, scanned by the host or check-in staff. A typed code works when a camera doesn’t.
  • New guests can join at the door through the host’s event QR invitation: sign up, finish the profile, checked in.
  • Only guests who actually arrived are seated, so no-shows never leave a table half empty.
A guest’s phone in the MatchQuest app: step 1 of 3, check in, with the ticket QR code to show the host
IN THE ROOM

The host keeps the room.
The app keeps the rhythm.

  • Seating from the checked-in guests, with named tables and directions that match the venue’s layout.
  • Table changes every 10 to 60 minutes, announced in advance. Guests choose to stay, move or take a break, and the planner mixes in new faces.
  • Pause, add 15 minutes or open table choices early with one tap.
  • Late arrivals are seated when there’s room, or held for the host. Help and change requests reach the host; nothing else interrupts.
The host’s live room: 11 of 13 checked in, 11 seated, 3 tables, next table change at 16:24, with buttons to open table choices, pause, add 15 minutes and play a chime
The host’s live room during a test evening: counts, the next table change and one-tap controls.
WHAT THE GUEST SEES

Booking the ticket
is only the start.

Your table, on your phone

Once the ticket is scanned, the phone shows where to go, who is at the table and one question to start with.

New faces, if you want them

When tables change, the app mixes the room so guests meet people they haven’t met yet. Staying is always fine.

Help is one tap away

Call the host over, ask for a different group or head home early. A blocked person is never seated at the same table.

Choose privately, then chat

Guests mark friends, a date or no one. Only mutual choices are shared, and each one opens a private chat.

AFTER THE EVENING

The connection
doesn’t end at the door.

  • Guests mark the people they met as friends, a date or neither. A one-sided choice is never shown.
  • Every mutual connection opens a private chat, without swapping numbers at the table.
  • Guests rate the evening; the host sees totals once enough people have answered, never who said what.
  • Attendance, feedback and earnings stay with the event, so the next edition starts from what worked.

FOR HOSTS AND VENUES

One workspace
for the business side.

Formats, not templates

Named tables or spots, small groups or meeting freely; changes on a rhythm or groups that stay together; supper clubs, games, vinyl, workshops.

A venue marketplace

Organizers send a real plan, venues accept, decline or counter-offer, and the date, setup and terms stay in one chat tied to the booking.

Earnings in one view

Ticket sales and venue hire, after refunds and fees, with attendance, fill rate, show-up rate and rating beside them.

TRUST AND SAFETY

Safety is part of the flow,
not an add-on.
